The WATERMAID® salt water chlorinator produces 100% available chlorine for your pool after mild saline
water is filtered and passes through the electrolytic Cell. By comparison, granular chlorine contains 65%
available chlorine and liquid chlorine contains only 12.5% available chlorine.
Chlorine as produced by the WATERMAID® chlorinator is produced over a period of several hours, so is
more evenly dispersed and therefore more comfortable on the skin.
